Classical typologies, such as the townhouse, the city villa and the metropolitan hotel have been experiencing an architectural renaissance in Berlin since the German Reunification. In the present volume, 30 examples of current building activities in Berlin are introduced, all with one thing in common: the looking-back upon the Berlin building tradition in the guise of contemporary modern architecture.
