Volume 2 shows specialist clinics and medical departments, and there are 49 of these, grouped by speciality. The photography and plans are of a consistently high standard and there are also short essays addressing the design exigencies of medical buildings. This set is required reading for architects or designers in this field; it really does throw down a gauntlet of quality and simplicity for books of this ilk.
