Russia Now. Architecture and Design

As part of the 2008 Itzehoe summer festival, the Wenzel Hablik Museum in this small northern German town staged an exhibition on modern Russian architecture, interior design and design. Nearly twenty years after the disintegration of the Soviet Union the anonymous planning institutes have been replaced by private architecture firms and design studios. The Russian architecture, interior design and design scene has emerged as a creative force to be reckoned with.
