Canadian Embassy Astana

Meuser Architekten is in charge of project management for the construction of the new Canadian Embassy in the Kazakh capital, Astana. The architects will be acting as on-site representatives of the Department for Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada (DFAIT). The design for the new, four-storey building was drawn up by Toronto-based German-Canadian architect Eberhard Zeidler. The building is scheduled to be ready for occupancy in autumn 2010, when the Canadian Embassy will move from the former capital Almaty to Astana.
